Rihanna Greets Fans in Hong Kong

On September 15, Rihanna visited the MAC Elements store in Hong Kong where she was greeted by a sea of fans.
She signed her beauty visual, which had debuted just two days prior and which will live in-store while the singer’s RiRi Hearts MAC fall collection is on counter through the end of October.
Bloomingdale’s Thinks Pink

Bloomingdale’s is fighting breast cancer this October with exclusive merchandise, special events and unique promotions in partnership with: The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), The Cancer Vixen Fund at Beth Israel Hospital and The Tutu Project, benefiting The Carey Foundation.
On October 1, Bloomingdale’s 59th Street will team with The Estée Lauder Companies and BCRF for a special event hosted by Elizabeth Hurley in support of the cause. Hurley will be joined by various “Pink Ambassador” beauty bloggers stationed at Lauder counters throughout the store.
“Bloomingdale’s is committed to finding a cure for breast cancer through our annual Pink Campaign,” said Michael Gould, the retailer’s chairman and CEO. “Our loyal shoppers make it possible for us to raise awareness and continue to support the key organizations who are imperative to moving closer towards finding a cure.”
All told, since its inception in 2005, the Bloomingdale’s Pink Campaign has raised a total of $6.5 million for BCRF.
Ungerer Shanghai Unveils Facility

Ungerer Shanghai celebrated its 10th anniversary in May and also unveiled a new, larger Asia Pacific Headquarters facility equipped with full flavor and fragrance R&D and manufacturing capabilities. The nearly 50,000 square foot location will employ 45 and is located on the coast of Shanghai.
The Mayor of Feng Xiang County presided over the formal opening ceremony alongside Ungerer president Ken Voorhees III and Jim Ding, Ungerer Shanghai’s general manager. Festivities included drumming, lion dances and a ribbon cutting.
Oscar Blandi Big in Brazil
During a two-day event hosted by Sephora Brazil and Oscar Blandi, the renowned stylist spoke to local editors as well as made an in-store appearance in support of his namesake brand, which launched in Brazil exclusively at Sephora last year.
Blandi also led a training seminar for Sephora cast members alongside the brand’s ambassador and stylist, Gina Guercia. Resultingly, sales spiked that day—particularly of its much-beloved Pronto Dry Styling collection.
Kurkdjian at Luxe Pack Monaco

For its 26th edition, Luxe Pack Monaco will welcome this year the famed perfumer Francis Kurkdjian as its guest of honor. Kurkdjian will offer a discussion entitled “Behind the Walls of Creation: Two Decades Dedicated to World of Perfume” on the afternoon of October 23.
Annually renowned Luxe Pack Monaco will run from October 23 through 25 at Monaco’s Grimaldi Forum. This year, a record number of nearly 400 exhibitors and 7,000 visitors are anticipated—among them 8% first-time exhibitors and 52% international attendees.
