Clarins Reorganizes Western Hemisphere

Clarins Groupe has announced the reorganization of its subsidiary in the Western Hemisphere to create one region: Clarins Groupe Americas—comprising the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latin America and Travel Retail Americas.

Each market will be charged by a general manager, while Jonathan Zrihen—formerly president and CEO of Clarins Groupe North America—has been named president and CEO of Clarins Groupe Americas, reporting to Philip Shearer, the company’s global CEO.

Effective July 1, Danyelle Boilard-Paul—formerly EVP of sales and education—will be promoted to general manager, Clarins Groupe USA. Additionally, Patricia Abergel—currently SVP of Clarins Fragrance Group Canada—will be promoted to general manager, Clarins Groupe Travel Retail Americas and Latin America. Francois Biard, general manager of Clarins de Mexico, will continue in his role.

Each of the general managers will report to Zrihen, with a leader for Canada market to be named at a later date.

Additional promotions at the newly-formed Clarins Groupe Americas include: Marc Rosenblum to CFO; Laurie Carey to vice president, human resources; Maria Dempsey to executive vice president of marketing, design and CRM; and Han Wen to vice president, digital and e-commerce—all reporting to Zrihen.
