Dr. Stuart Kaplan, creator and founder of Kaplan MD Skincare, made a personal appearance at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City on January 20 to introduce customers to his new products.
The Beverly Hills-based dermatologist conducted skin consultations and worked with his team and the store’s beauty advisors to educate customers on the benefits and value of his products.
“I truly felt a partnership between my team, the cosmetics department and Bergdorf’s entire corporate staff,” said Kaplan. “The customers were absolutely enraptured and amazed at the science behind the products, especially when I explained the different causes of skin aging.”

Stefano Tonchi, editor in chief of W, partnered with Joanne Crewes, president of global prestige for P&G, to host a star-studded event unveiling “The Ever Changing Face of Beauty,” a unique video installation created by fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø.
More than 600 people attended the event, held at New York City’s Park Avenue Armory, to see the impressive work of art featured on two 50-foot tall screens representing man and woman exploring the consequences of global evolution in beauty.

MANE TAPS ZENDEJAS
Mireya Zendejas, formerly of Argeville, has joined Mane USA as vice president of creative fragrance development, fine fragrance and specialty and the company’s New York City Creative Studio.
In her new role, Zendejas will lead the evaluation group and fragrance development process for both prestige and specialty clients. She will also facilitate the liaison with the creative marketing team, on proactive initiatives.
