Laser Cosmetica Flagship Location Celebrates its One-Year Anniversary
Laser Cosmetica celebrated the one-year anniversary of its flagship location at 18 West 23rd Street last week. Laser Cosmetica founder and president, Ryan Bloch, hosted clients, friends and editors who enjoyed music by DJ Kyle, fabulous hors d’oeuvres and cocktails by The Dinner Belle Caterers. Those who purchased packages at the opening received a 15% discount.
Laser Cosmetica is the laser skin treatment center that began offering services to New York City clients in 2002. Today, the beauty provider has 9 state-of-the-art facilities: five in New York City and one each in Great Neck, Westchester, Philadelphia and Miami Beach. With nearly a half-dozen different types of lasers on premises, Laser Cosmetica technicians customize treatment programs to fit the individual needs of each client.
The steady expansion of Laser Cosmetica locations can be attributed to Mr. Bloch, an entrepreneur with a law degree and a passion for technology, who personally develops each Laser Cosmetica location. A combination of Affirm, Cutera, Isolaz and other technologies are employed for facial photorejuvenation and wrinkle reduction. Laser Cosmetica also specializes in skin tightening, acne therapy, cellulite reduction, and rosacea treatment, as well as chemical peels, microdermabrasion and hair removal.
All treatments are performed under medical supervision by licensed aestheticians. Laser Cosmetica’s 12-member consultation board includes physicians Dr. William Gael and Dr. Joshua Fink. Dr. Gael is at the 23rd Street location three days a week for patient assessment and supervision. Dr. Gael personally administers all injectibles.
To supplement its services, the Laser Cosmetica team developed Skin Cosmetica™, an advanced clinic skincare line (23 SKUs) that offers regimens for daily use as well as pre- and post-treatment solutions. Products include Thermal Exfoliating Scrub, Glycolic Pads, Calming Chamomile Toner, Green Tea Foaming Cleanser, and Tinted Anti-Aging Sunscreen.
